JUNGLE BUNGALOW & RESTAURANT
ON THE ROCKS has 10 private wooden bungalows and a restaurant with spectacular panoramic view into the jungle, Bukit Lawang and the river.
All bungalows have internal bathrooms with shower and a spacious balcony with a hammock. The bungalows are set in harmony with the nature. All bungalows have jungle view into the Gunung Leuser National Park.
Our huts have everything what you need for your jungle experience.
A hidden paradies with best starting point for jungle trekking in Bukit Lawang. Up the hill but still close to the village
On the Rocks spacious garden is a full of exotic flowers and plants. Wild life can be spotted daily. It is a welcoming jungle lodge for families with small kids. We provide a small playground, badminton field and lots of space for playing and exploring. For families we can organise taylor made jungle trekkings which fits their needs.
Luggage porters, hot water for showering small kids, kids menu and other kids-friendly activities are available on request.
We like to call our bungalows “luxury simple”. Standard, deluxe or on a budget? – have a look on our different huts and choose your favorite one. Every bungalow has its own flair. If you travel alone, as a couple, in a group or with your family – we are able to accommodate you pleasantly.
“Jungle Villa” – our newest luxury bungalow with a breathtaking view into the gunung leuser national park. Available from july 2018. Our bungalows don´t need an air-con – natural breezes keep our lodge cooler than other guesthouses in the village. Should you still feel hot, than our cold coconut shower will give you a refreshing treat. That´s how authentic jungle local life looks like.
